How to Book

The opening ceremony of the 2016 edition of the Summer Olympic Games is just only one day away now. And everyone is getting into the Olympic spirit, including our lovely city.

Starting with today, August 4, and until Saturday evening one has the chance to practice Olympic sports in middle of the city, in Kungsträdgården. The event is organized by the Swedish Olympic Committee. Former Swedish Olympic athletes will be on the spot and the visitors can also see live transmissions from Brazil.

The event develops between 13.00 and 17.00 today, while on the following days the guests are welcome between 11.00 and 17.00. Do not miss the change to practice sports like: basketball, boxing, canoeing, fencing, golf, gymnastics, handball, judo, rowing, table tennis etc.

Also, at the end of this week, after the Olympic Days are over, on the 7th of August, Kungsträdgården will be hosting the Brazilian Day in Stockholm, an event organized by Brazilian Embassy in Sweden. What a wonderful way to continue celebrating the Olympic spirit by getting to know the culture of the country hosting the Olympic Games.

You are welcome between 12.00 and 20.00 on Sunday to enjoy Brazilian music, dance and food.  This is the 7th edition of the Brazilian Day in Stockholm. Make the most of it and learn Brazilian dance, capoeira and play football! Do not miss it! Both events have free entrance.
