How to Book

A major international sporting event will be hosted in Stockholm next Tuesday, on 23rd of February. We are talking here about one stage of the Alpine Skiing World Cup, organized by the International Ski Federation (FIS).

The competition will take place on the slopes of the amazing Hammarbybacken, which we recommended for your winter activity in our January post about winter sports in Stockholm.

The Swedish capital will be visited by the best 32 skiers in the world, 16 for men’s competition and 16 for ladies’ competition. They will compete side by side in parallel slalom for a prize of over 2 million Swedish crowns.

This will be the first time Stockholm is hosting an event from the Alpine Ski World Cup season, fact which puts the city on the map of one of the most important winter sports in the world.

On Tuesday the races will start at 17.00 and the award ceremony will be hosted starting with 19.00.If you did not get a chance to buy tickets for the show, it is not too late for you to be part of the stoRy. You can watch live the events in Stockholm by turning on Eurosport on Tuesday!
