Julgransplundring- Christmas time is over

Julgransplundring Nordiska Museet

This lovely Christmas Tree decorated the main hall of the Nordic Museum for the whole Christmas Season. Today, on Sunday the 15th January 2017, it was taken down in a traditional way called in Swedish: Julgransplundring which means

Christmas tree plundering. Kids and adults danced around the Christmas tree, sang happy songs and picked down the Christmas ornaments and decoration. In the old days children could not wait the moment when they could take down the candy decoration  and eat it.

Come to Stockholm this year in December or January to see the new Christmas tree and to Be a part of the stoRy!
