The End of Christmas season in Sweden- St. Knut’s Day

St. Knut’s Day- Tjugondag Knut

13th of January marks traditionally the end of the Christmas  Holiday in Sweden.  On that day people usually take down their Christmas trees and  all the Christmas decoration.

In Sweden you will find Christmas trees piled on central squares already short after Christmas. They will be waiting there to be picked by the  city service on the 13th January or the following days.
