For last few years Stieg Larsson’s trilogy has been very popular not only in Sweden but also in many other countries.  Södermalm island is the place where quite a few episodes of Larsson’s main characters, Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist live, work, meet friends and go out.
