How to Book

Hello, everyone! The Swedish summer was in full swing this weekend and we think it’s just proper to take you on another trip in our stoRy! This time we are going to Hammarbyhöjden. Join us!

Today’s station bears the name of the district in which is located in the southern part of the Swedish capital. The Hammarbyhöjden subway station was opened in April 1958.

The distance to the central part of the city it’s of about 4 km. Northbound comes Skärmarbrink, while southbound Hammarbyhöjden it’s followed by Björkhagen. Almost 5000 people pass by here on a regular weekday.

The station has two entrances that lead to a large platform situated above the ground. A rebuilding project was conducted in 2003, while the artistic decorations were done by Tom Möller in 1958.

Want to see more of Stockholm’s beautifully designed stations? keep an eye on your project’s Facebook page (Stockholm Subway StoRy) and check out our blog for new posts regarding the Stockholm subway. Be a part of the StoRy!
